People have been wondering about directions to Land's End. How dare you?
From Swansboro (Best Western) and other points off the island:
1) Take NC-24 North.
2) Turn right on NC-58 East, following signs to Emerald Isle.
3) Go across the big bridge that takes you on to the island.
4) Turn right on Coast Guard Road. This is the first stoplight once you are on the island.
5) The Land's End community is approximately 1.5 miles on your left.
6) The street name is Tradewinds Rd.
7) Tell the guard at the gate that you're there for our wedding.
8) Follow tradewinds straight to the beach. The clubhouse will be right in front of you.
From Atlantic Beach (Sheraton) and other points North/East:
1) Take NC-58 West (Emerald Dr., Ft. Macon Rd., Salter Path Rd., depending on where you are).
2) Turn left on Coast Guard Road. This is the last stoplight on the island. There are gas stations on the left and right.
3) The Land's End community is approximately 1.5 miles on your left.
4) The street name is Tradewinds Rd.

Wedding Date, Location and other Basics
The nuptials are set for May 30, 2009 in lovely Emerald Isle, North Carolina.
The ceremony will take place on the beach in the Land's End community and the reception will be held just over the dunes in the clubhouse.
